Our senior team not only guides the growth and direction of Franklin Rae, but leads our brilliant team of PR professionals – of whom we are incredibly proud – to support them in achieving exceptional results for our clients day in, day out.

Sophie Naylor

Sophie Naylor

Managing Director

Sophie joined Franklin Rae in 2004, following agency roles as Account Director and a stint at BBCi. She has over 17 years experience in PR, working across all areas of media and content.

Her belief that content is king, and her genuine passion for the media industry, is visible in all Franklin Rae outreach. Sophie’s core focus is making a tangible difference to client profile & reputation, whilst recognising & reflecting client ambition.

Sophie has a degree in Psychology, outside of work she enjoys traveling, lazy Sunday mornings with newspapers and coffee, her kindle and spending time with her family and friends.

Shereene Witter

Shereene Witter

Senior Account Director

Shereene has been in PR for several years and has established a strong understanding of the many different facets of the industry.

During her career she has worked across tech, digital, media and broadcast PR, and has developed high profile B2B and B2C campaigns for clients such as Cisco, DRG, NBC Universal and Hopster.

She has a passion for people and is a natural leader, making her a great addition to Franklin Rae’s senior management team. She also loves to read, travel and explore different cultures and traditions.

Melanie Webb

Melanie started in TV production, where over the course of seven years she produced a range of shows for some of the UK’s major broadcasters. Since moving into PR nine years ago, she has worked with clients across the broadcast, advertising and marketing sectors and has a wealth of experience in both B2B and consumer PR, looking after clients corporate reputation across industry press, as well as handling programme publicity campaigns for a wide range of shows.

In her spare time, Melanie likes to hang out with her husband, catch up on all her favourite TV shows, throw dinner parties for friends and enjoy quality time with her family.

Anoushka Awad

Anoushka studied PR and Marketing at University and has since gained over 7 years of both in-house and agency experience. She has worked across a variety of sectors including fashion, sports, music and technology.

A Londoner born and bred, when she isn’t enjoying the arts and culture that the city has to offer, Anoushka loves to travel to hotter climates!

She has proven track record of delivering high impact consumer campaigns, has excellent knowledge of the field and comes complete with a broad range of consumer and broadcast contacts within the media.

Abigail Williams

Abigail Williams

Account Manager

Abigail has over four years of experience working across the corporate, technology, media and broadcast sectors. She’s co-ordinated global and European-wide PR campaigns for brands such as Ooyala and brings a wide network of international media contacts to the team, having worked for PR agencies in Sydney, Cardiff and London.

With a strong background in Art and Design, Abigail aspires to put creativity at the core of all her campaigns and has a real passion for media relations. She graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 with a first class BA Communication degree.

An all-round sports fan, Abigail has played everything from netball and hockey, to Aussie Rules football (with the cast of Home and Away).

Xander started his career working in the world of corporate, technology and financial PR. Prior to this, he gained a research masters (MRes) in History, from the University of Birmingham.

A creative force of nature, he loves idea generation and helping his clients fulfill their ambitions.

He also loves learning about new topics and is inspired by great films and documentaries. In his spare time he enjoys playing rugby for his local team or reading a good book.

Eve Edmunds

Having just graduated from Warwick University, Eve has entered the world of PR with a passion for the media and creative industries. She relishes the opportunities for media relations and creativity at Franklin Rae.

A speaker of French and German, she loves being able to immerse herself in different cultures, and spent a year abroad in Germany teaching English prior to completing her degree.

In her spare time she enjoys running in Richmond Park and planning her next trip abroad.

Chloe Lawrance

Junior Account Executive

Chloe recently graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BA Hons in English Literature and has a strong background in journalism, having worked across a number of national titles.

She brings an extensive knowledge of the media to her role at Franklin Rae, and relishes the opportunity to contribute to both B2B and consumer campaigns. A digital native, Chloe believes in the importance of uniting new and traditional medias to create an effective and long-lasting impact.

With a passion for good television and even better food, she spends her spare time watching documentaries and hunting out street food markets.
