The great and good of journalism descended upon the Hoxton in Shoreditch on 24th September for an evening of networking, drinks and canapes hosted by our global data analytics client SEMrush.

Guests from the likes of Stylist, The Times and BBC were transfixed by award-winning data Journalist Megan Lucero’s talk about her career thus far; from some colleagues thinking she was part of I.T support in her early days as a data reporter at The Times to her team breaking the Russian state-run doping scandal. 

SEMrush’s Head of Communications and Marketing Fernando Angulo won over the room of press hounds by outlining SEMrush’s data capabilities and how they can help in shaping news stories on nearly every topic.

Guests left the event with new connections, and knowledge of kind of news headlines that SEMrush’s data can generate, new insight into Data Journalism, and of course a lovely gift bag!
